CVSS v3.1 |
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.1.21155. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the tile index member of SOT markers. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-4978.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.0.14878. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of ObjStm objects. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-4846.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.0.14878. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of PDF files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-4738.

The flx_decode_chunks function in gst/flx/gstflxdec.c in GStreamer before 1.10.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid memory read and crash) via a crafted FLIC file.
readelf in GNU Binutils 2.28 is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer over-read while processing corrupt RL78 binaries. The vulnerability can trigger program crashes. It may lead to an information leak as well.
Integer overflow in the writeBufferToSeparateStrips function in tiffcrop.c in LibTIFF before 4.0.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted tif file.
The ROM mappings in the NSF decoder in gstreamer 0.10.x allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read or write) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted NSF music file.
An information leak exists in the handling of the MXIT protocol in Pidgin. Specially crafted MXIT data sent via the server could potentially result in an out-of-bounds read. A malicious user, server, or man-in-the-middle can send an invalid size for an avatar which will trigger an out-of-bounds read vulnerability. This could result in a denial of service or copy data from memory to the file, resulting in an information leak if the avatar is sent to another user.
An information leak exists in the handling of the MXIT protocol in Pidgin. Specially crafted MXIT data sent to the server could potentially result in an out-of-bounds read. A user could be convinced to enter a particular string which would then get converted incorrectly and could lead to a potential out-of-bounds read.
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the kernel scsi driver. Product: Android. Versions: Android kernel. Android ID A-65023233.
The decodeSample function in IMA.cpp in Audio File Library (aka audiofile) 0.3.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted file.
An exploitable arbitrary heap-overwrite vulnerability exists within Iceni Argus. When it attempts to convert a malformed PDF to XML, it will explicitly trust an index within the specific font object and use it to write the font's name to a single object within an array of objects.
A large out-of-bounds read on the heap vulnerability in Foxit PDF Reader can potentially be abused for information disclosure. Combined with another vulnerability, it can be used to leak heap memory layout and in bypassing ASLR.
The cdc_parse_cdc_header function in drivers/usb/core/message.c in the Linux kernel before 4.13.6 allows local users to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and system crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted USB device.
The Classical IP over ATM parser in tcpdump before 4.9.0 has a buffer overflow in print-cip.c:cip_if_print().
The CALM FAST parser in tcpdump before 4.9.0 has a buffer overflow in print-calm-fast.c:calm_fast_print().
The TFTP parser in tcpdump before 4.9.0 has a buffer overflow in print-tftp.c:tftp_print().
The BOOTP parser in tcpdump before 4.9.0 has a buffer overflow in print-bootp.c:bootp_print().
The IP parser in tcpdump before 4.9.0 has a buffer overflow in print-ip.c, multiple functions.
