CVSS v3.1 |
An exploitable Denial of Service vulnerability exists in the API daemon of Circle with Disney running firmware 2.0.1. A large amount of simultaneous TCP connections causes the APID daemon to repeatedly fork, causing the daemon to run out of memory and trigger a device reboot. An attacker needs network connectivity to the device to trigger this vulnerability.
A vulnerability in the TCP normalizer of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software (8.0 through 8.7 and 9.0 through 9.6) and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause Cisco ASA and FTD to drop any further incoming traffic on all interfaces, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to improper limitation of the global out-of-order TCP queue for specific block sizes. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of unique permitted TCP connections with out-of-order segments. An exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust available blocks in the global out-of-order TCP queue, causing the dropping of any further incoming traffic on all interfaces and resulting in a DoS condition. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvb46321.
The ReadDPXImage function in coders\dpx.c in ImageMagick 7.0.6-0 has a large loop vulnerability that can cause CPU exhaustion via a crafted DPX file, related to lack of an EOF check.
mongod in MongoDB 2.6, when using 2.4-style users, and 2.4 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption and process termination) by leveraging in-memory database representation when authenticating against a non-existent database.
A vulnerability in the Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) parsing function of Cisco IOS (12.0 through 12.4 and 15.0 through 15.6) and Cisco IOS XE (3.1 through 3.18) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of L2TP packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted L2TP packet to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability affects Cisco devices that are running a vulnerable release of Cisco IOS or Cisco IOS XE Software if the L2TP feature is enabled for the device and the device is configured as an L2TP Version 2 (L2TPv2) or L2TP Version 3 (L2TPv3) endpoint. By default, the L2TP feature is not enabled. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCuy82078.
A vulnerability in the detection engine reassembly of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) packets for Cisco Firepower System Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition because the Snort process consumes a high level of CPU resources. Affected Products: This vulnerability affects Cisco Firepower System Software running software releases 6.0.0, 6.1.0, 6.2.0, or 6.2.1 when the device is configured with an SSL policy that has at least one rule specifying traffic decryption. More Information: CSCvc58563. Known Affected Releases: 6.0.0 6.1.0 6.2.0 6.2.1.
The broadcast mode replay prevention functionality in ntpd in NTP before 4.2.8p9 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (reject broadcast mode packets) via a crafted broadcast mode packet.
The implementation of the OSPF protocol in VMware NSX-V Edge 6.2.x prior to 6.2.8 and NSX-V Edge 6.3.x prior to 6.3.3 doesn't correctly handle the link-state advertisement (LSA). A rogue LSA may exploit this issue resulting in continuous sending of LSAs between two routers eventually going in loop or loss of connectivity.
Memory leak in hw/audio/es1370.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (host memory consumption and QEMU process crash) via a large number of device unplug operations.
An issue was discovered on FiberHome Fengine S5800 switches V210R240. An unauthorized attacker can access the device's SSH service, using a password cracking tool to establish SSH connections quickly. This will trigger an increase in the SSH login timeout (each of the login attempts will occupy a connection slot for a longer time). Once this occurs, legitimate login attempts via SSH/telnet will be refused, resulting in a denial of service; you must restart the device.
ownCloud Server before 8.1.11, 8.2.x before 8.2.9, 9.0.x before 9.0.7, and 9.1.x before 9.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (server hang and logfile flooding) via a one bit BMP file.
A Resource Consumption issue was discovered in Trihedral VTScada Versions prior to 11.2.26. The client does not properly validate the input or limit the amount of resources that are utilized by an attacker, which can be used to consume more resources than are available.
In F5 BIG-IP LTM, AAM, AFM, Analytics, APM, ASM, DNS, Edge Gateway, GTM, Link Controller, PEM, WebAccelerator software version 12.0.0 - 12.1.2, 11.6.0 - 11.6.1, 11.4.0 - 11.5.4, 11.2.1, when ConfigSync is configured, attackers on adjacent networks may be able to bypass the TLS protections usually used to encrypted and authenticate connections to mcpd. This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) attack via resource exhaustion.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 11 is affected. macOS before 10.13 is affected. tvOS before 11 is affected. watchOS before 4 is affected. The issue involves the "libc" component. It allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption) via a crafted string that is mishandled by the glob function.
ZyXEL P-660HW v3 devices allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via a flood of IP packets with a TTL of 1.
The i_zval_ptr_dtor function in Zend/zend_variables.h in PHP 7.1.5 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact by triggering crafted operations on array data structures.
Apache OpenMeetings 1.0.0 doesn't check contents of files being uploaded. An attacker can cause a denial of service by uploading multiple large files to the server.
Designate 2015.1.0 through 1.0.0.0b1 as packaged in OpenStack Kilo does not enforce RecordSets per domain, and Records per RecordSet quotas when processing an internal zone file transfer, which might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a crafted resource record set.
A vulnerability in the network stack of MikroTik Version 6.38.5 released 2017-03-09 could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust all available CPU via a flood of TCP RST packets, preventing the affected router from accepting new TCP connections.
The function coff_set_alignment_hook in coffcode.h in Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.28, has a memory leak vulnerability which can cause memory exhaustion in objdump via a crafted PE file. Additional validation in dump_relocs_in_section in objdump.c can resolve this.
